I woke up this morning, on the other side of bed,
I made a concious decision to use the other side of my head...
The side I was using, was stuck in repetition
Of those old habits, run out of ambition
I wake up at 8, drag myself to the shower
I try to eat breakfast and get to work in an hour
I don't want each day to be a reflection of the last,
I don't want to wake up at 40, wondering, "where went my past?"
I want to wake up today, try something new
yeah, wake up today, that's just what I'll do...
Open my eyes to the world set before me,
Take advantage of time, go see what I can see
I'm gonna open my window, up to the light,
And, then I'll take in a deep breath of this concious life!
